So i need help finding a network adapter (Wifi) that has good range and preferably supports a 150 download and 50 upload minimum since thats my internet, can anyone help? im unaware of what to look for, also how difficult is the installation? also it is for my friend who does not have a lot of money, i was hoping under $30 Canadian would be possible

I've used a lot of these:

 

Edimax EW-7811Un 150Mbps 11n Wi-Fi USB Adapter, Nano Size

 

Amazon (US) has them for $8.95.  Haven't had any problems with them and they don't tie up a PCI-E slot.  If you need a bigger range or faster capaciity then you might try 

 

Edimax EW-7811UAC 11AC Dualband USB Adapter with High Gain Antenna   $21 on Amazon.  Very easy to install since you just plug them into a USB.  Usually don't need a driver.

 

 

If you insist on a PCI-E card then 

 

Rosewill 802.11N, N300 PCI Express Wireless Adapter/Wi-Fi Adapter/Network Card (RNX-N250PCe)

 

Should work OK.  $17
