I just bought a new motherboard, RAM, CPU. On both old and new system, I always downloaded at less than 7MBps

Diablo 3 was downloading at about 3MBps

World of Warcraft hit close to 7MBps which is pretty right on my speed.

Final Fantasy XIV is at 2.28MBps.

I pay for 50 mega bits per second but the download speeds for multiple different items, not just those listed above, have always been less than 10MBps.

Is there a way to fix this?

Here are my speedtest.net results: http://www.speedtest...sult/5419887636with only 1 chrome tab open and the Final Fantasy XIV downloading, being the only internet items open.

8Mbps = 1 MBps. If I am getting 50Mbps then I should be downloading closer to 6.25MBps

download speeds not only rely on your download connection speed they also rely on the upload speed of the servers your downloading from.

so maybe the problem with your speed is not at your end and is at the final fantasy servers end or what ever servers your downloading from when you do not get the speeds your expecting of about 7.5MBs (your max speed according to the posted speedtest result.)

another reason for lower download speeds is if your isp is throttling your connection depending on their terms of use.

so in my opinion i don't think there is anything you can do at your end to speed things up.
