My Pc is HP Pavillion Media Center PC m7280in.
My Pc was working till day before yesterday, i installed Avast antivirus and scanned. When I tried to switch on the computer yesterday it doesn't turn on. :( There is showing a orange light on the power button constantly, and my cpu's fan starts for a second and stops and my pc shows no display. I removed the ram and tried on other slots and removed the bios and ram, one at a time but no beep came as it should come as I read some of your suggestions. Is there any problem with my PSU or Motherboard. Please help! :??:

:welcome:   rexroy28,

Couple of questions if I may;

My Pc is HP Pavillion Media Center PC m7280in.

Not finding anything online for that model of computer, do you have a link, all I am getting is the info here

There is showing a orange light on the power button constantly,

Is the light on the power on/off button on the front of the computer case.

I removed the ram and tried on other slots and removed the bios and ram, one at a time but no beep came as it should

Does your computer normally beep once when it boots into Windows.

Do you have an add on video card or are you using an integrated video chip on the MB.

If you are using an add on video card, does your MB also have an integrated video chip.
