Dell XPS 8500, 64 bit, Win7 Home Premium, 8 GB ram, two 1T SATA drives

Anyone know much about Raid 1 delivered by IRST?

I'm having a problem administering IRST.   I want to run SpinRite on my hd's and need to take them out of the raid array to do so, then put them back into Raid 1 mode, all without losing data.

Thanks I did that and then I had to change SATA mode from AHCI to RAID in the BIOS and then the already installed drivers and raid configuration came to life.    Now I got a handle on the process.
