I upgraded my old AMD CPU to a i7, got a new motherboard to go with it, I installed it, and all I get is 2 seconds of Windows loading up, it says "Windows failed to load" and then it sends me to the "Start windows diagnostics" or something and "Start Windows" which if click the diagnostics, it runs for 10 minutes, says it's been fixed, and loads up windows and crashes, and "start windows" just crashes it again. Long story short, I'm dumb and didn't install any motherboard drivers, and I have a OEM windows, so basically am I screwed until I can get a disc version of windows? Or is my Hard Drive truly just messed up, i tried going back to my old motherboard to load up windows and yet again, this time it said that the hard drive 'loaded up' but couldn't start anything from it, or something along the lines of that. I'm really tired, and my fingers hurt from fiddling with my PC, any suggestions? If you need anything that I didn't include, feel free to ask, but I'm almost certain it's either 1. My windows 2. My HDD or 3. A combination of both.
Thanks!
Any thoughts on this? Will I have to buy a new windows 7 disc? New HDD? I have (had) Windows 7 64 bit, with a GTX 980 Ti, Gaming 5 motherboard from GIGABYTE, i7 4790k, 8gb of vengeance ram, and a seagate barracuda 2 tb hard drive
