Get a picture, right click it and click set as desktop background, see if that works.

Right click the desktop > go to Desktop > customize Desktop > Web > uncheck every check box

okay then lets try getting an image of your screen, a screenshot will do.
When everything is ready press the Print Screen Button. Open up Paint, then paste it. Save the file as xxx.jpg then attach it here so I can take a look.

when you add a reply, you will be able to see this button at the bottom Add This Attachment, next to Add Reply. Click browse... for the file, locate the picture file xxx.jpg then confirm OK, then click Add This Attachment.
