I have a HPLC2000R server running W2K server. It has a drive cage with 4 factory HP SCA SCSI hard drives.

The HP drives are Fujitsu MAG3182LCs.

I purchaced of of eBay 2 Fujitsu MAG3182LCs that came off of a SUN server.

They operate fine but I want to install HPs firmware because I am receiving minor communication errors generated from the RAID card because it doesn't recognise the firmware.

HPs firmware update utiltiy won't overwrite the installed firmware, only update existing HP firmware.

Does anyone know of a utiltiy that will overwrite one OEM factory firmware with another?

Any help appreciated.
Thanks!
