Hi when i open a file e.g cursors i click on one and it comes up 'to open this file windows needs to know what program created it' so i go to 'use the web service to find the appropriate program' i click ok and it comes up 'File type:cursor' 'File extension:cur' 'Description:this file is a cursor' now what do i do?please help Thank You

you don't open cursor files. They are used by the mouse program to make your cursor shapes.

but i think one can edit them .. isn't it or not

I think you can edit them with ms paint....think they are just bitmaps.
