New to the fourm hello to everyone,

im using windows xp, i want to use something other than the windows fire wall. any recommendations, i use the Kerio free edition is this worth purchasing the full service. or another such as zone alarm? or another 3rd party software? Im using nortion anti virus. Is there a program that will alert you when your being hacked and stop the booting codes on instant messanging?

Thanks for you responses.

kerio is fine, no need to upgrade for most users. Don't know what you mean by your last question.

A firewall will alert you to an outside attack, especially during training, and it logs them. There are intrusion detection programs, including MS ANtispy, which has resident scanning, but this is less a hack detector and more a startup sittings are being changed.
