Rek,

Open that little "my computer" icon by double clicking on it. In there you will see the "C Drive" and click on that. Then select "Program files" and click on that and usually in alphabetical order you will see the ISTsvc program, it will be its own folder. If you see it then delete that whole folder.

Another quick way that sometimes works is to look in the list in the "Control Panel" and if found there just have the add/remove program tool delete it BUT then go to the Program files and make sure the entire folder is gone.

The same should be for the file:
C:\WINDOWS\yvelrd.exe

When you open the "My Computer" you will see that C Drive and then a list of all the things on the C Drive and one of them will be "WINDOWS" folder, open it and now you will see things in alphabetical order BUT theres a few different instances where the alphabetical letters will start again so you have to check the whole folder really good!

We are down to this one last thing so we need to look for it really good Rek, WE MUST WIN, WE CANT LET THE VIRUS BEAT US, I will hang myself or jump from the Empire state building and I can I live pretty close to it too! :tazz:

Lol,
Ok Rekzai this can be very good news then lets try one more scan and see what we have. Is "View all files" set for searching?

We did it earlier so it still should be on and I keep mine like that all the time just make sure you NEVER delete anything in one of those "faded" folders because thats all system stuff of course unless you are told to!

"View of All Files and Folders"
Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Oh all "quaranteens" are dumped right?
If it comes up again I think we will try "System Restore" but deleting this file and folder usually isnt a proble, but lets do one more scan and see first.

Ok Rekzai,
Lets try this being the file is still showing up:

Download FindIt's.zip to your desktop: http://forums.net-in...=post&id=142443

1. Unzip/extract the files inside to a folder on your desktop.
2. Open the folder. Double click on FindIt's.bat and wait for Notepad to open a text file. It will take a while so please be patient ...
3. Then post the results here.
