I have a Gateway Desktop.
I want to hookup headphones, inplace of speakers, to listen to wav files.

The speakers are working and do have sound.

I have tried hooking HPs to the front hp jack. Also, tried hooking HPs to the speaker jack in the back.

I am getting nothing.
*The headphones do work, I have tried them on someone else's computer by using there front hp jack.

Thanks TA.

in the "Volume Control" there are two main things, Volume control and Wave. if one of these are muted or on low you will get nothing, and depending on your OS like Windows 2003 server it is auto windows sound off...but then that asks the question why you would want to play music on 2003 server :tazz:
