The problem is that when I connect my router I can not access the internet. I have been on the phone with Linksys for two days. Initially they told me that the router was defective. I went and purchased a new one and keep getting the same results. I have tried to connect it using the cd and through the Linksys website remote setup. Either way the same result...the pc does not recogize the router for some reason. I have changed cables, reset modem and router, gone through power cycles, restarted the computer, and anything else Linksys or myself have thought of. Still....no recognition of the router by the pc.
The only thing I can think of now, is that maybe there is some kind of virus or other invasive thing going on.
Please help!!! I have two other computers that are connected through this router and really need to get them all up and running.
Again, when I connect directly through the modem, bypassing the router, everything works just fine.
