I am using a Yahoo mail account on my android phone and on my W10 desktop pc..

I have removed the contacts using my PC but they still appear on the phone. And the old (now wrong) addresses appear when I type in the addressee's nickname using the phone's Compose screen.

Is there a sync function I am missing somewhere?

Thank you. .... batpark

Hello,

Go to your contacts list and tap & hold on the contact you want to delete. A menu should pop up with that option.

Here, you can just rely on this Samsung Data Eraser software, which allows you to permanently delete contacts on Android phone as well as other files like muisc, messages, photos, videos, apps and many more. It supports almost a full range of android phone including Samsung,LG,HTC,Sony,Huawei,OPPO etc.

An easy way to manage your phone contacts is to use Assistant for Android tool, connect your device to computer and run this program, it can scan your  contacts and other files on Android phone, then you can enter into "Contact" mode and preview your phone numbers, then choose the one you need to transfer edit or delete.
