Should VLC Media player be able to play MVI movies made with digital camera?

If I am not mistaken MVI is based on DVD's storage format, so there is a possibility that VLC supports it. If it doesn't, then you can always search for a MVI to MP4/AVI/WMV/etc. video converter.
