To the best of my knowledge you should replace your 1gb memory stick an add 2 sticks of 2gb memory modules for a total of 4gb (maximum for a 32 bit OS) and add a GPU for your PCI-E slot (Graphic Card) so you do not use your memory by using your Integrated Graphic.
For your GPU the choice would all depend on your Power Supply Unit (PSU) and since you have an Acer PC it probably means you have a basic PSU that will not accept an GPU that requires too much power from your PSU.
Here are some options:
Radeon HD 7750 - 16A and a 400W psu minimum
Radeon HD 6670 - 17A and a 400W PSU minimum
GeForce GT 430 - 22A and a 350W PSU minimum
GeForce GT 630 - 20A and a 350W PSU minimum
Hope that helps

Thanks!
I asked at a store today and they told me that the maximum I can put is 2gb which I will probably buy tomorrow.
Haven't searched for the graphic card yet.
Still going terribly slow, especially in opening applications.
i THINK there may be a virus. I run Farbar, this is the report:

FRST logs removed, not used outside of the Malware Removal Forums.
Hope you don`t mind me chiming in while you are offline Alzeimer
Haven't searched for the graphic card yet.
Not required as you cannot upgrade the video chip in your notebook.
Couple of suggestions for you Dimitris but can I first ask why you suspect that the computer may be infected, any obvious reason and you will need to be redirected to the Malware Removal Forums.
Use the Crucial system scanner tool here to find the best recommended Ram for your system, no need to purchase from there, write down the details then shop around for the best prices local to you.
Looks like your HDD is running hot which will slow down your computer;
Hard drives
Test the HDD with CrystalDiskInfo 7.0.0 Standard Edition which you can download from here once done grab a screenshot (possibly two) of the results and attach to your next reply for us.
To capture and post a screenshot;
Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start...all programs...accessories...paint....left click in the white area ...press CTRL + V...click on file...click on save...save it to your desktop...name it something related to the screen your capturing... BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG ...otherwise it may be to big to upload... Click on the More Reply Options tab then after typing in any response you have... click on Choose File...desktop...find the screenshot..select it and click on Attach This File...on the lower left...after it says upload successful...click on add reply like you normally would.
Screenshot instructions are provided to assist those that may read this topic but are not yet aware of the “how to”.
Thanks phillpower2, I had not notice he had a laptop, I,ll leave it to your able hands.
You are welcome Alzeimer
Your HDD checks out as being fine Dimitris, not sure about the MSE updates though as Speccy is showing that it is fully up to date.
Regarding the RAM upgrade, there should be a 2 Xs 2GB DDR2-800 option, if your budget will allow it that is what I suggest you purchase.
