Hello,

if I select Open Loop Thermal Throttling in the BIOS and save and reset the computer the BIOS overrides my selection win CLTT (Closed Loop Thermal Throttling).

I have an issue with the fan control (fans spinning always at 100%) and i found that the problems are the DIMMs wich do not have thermal sensors. If that is the case the BIOS should not choose CLTT because then the fans are controlled with the RAM temperature as major factor.

Now i tried to select OLTT manually wich didnt work.

My system is this:

Machine: System: Intel product: TERRA Server v: ....................

Mobo: Intel model: S5520HC v: E26045-454

//edit: Fan1: 4500rmp, Fan2: 3100rmp, Fan3: 4000rmp ;(

Help would be nice; that noise my machines makes isnt wholesome.
