I am not a geek, and need simple language if anyone answers this post.  I am an American, living in Australia and I miss viewing my Pinterest USA site both on the web and my iphone.  Is it possible to set set the USA site to load on a tab in google on my laptop and or iphone?  When I try to go to Pinterest.com it automatically loads the au.pinterest.com site and that is not what I want.  I figured out how to set USA google as my homepage by using /ncr in the settings, but that same concept doesn't work when applying it to the pinterest site.  Can anyone help me in simple terms??

Kindest Regards,

Pikaz

You can do this in Tor browser by changing the exit node to what ever country you wish. I actually found this out because I was trying to browse anonymously and the IP address was hidden, so google kept switching my language to "french"

Turns out my fake masked IP address was originating from Belgium and google detected this. And of course took the liberty of changing from English by itself each time I reloaded the page.

Edited the exit node with US or United States, and I never had the problem again. You could change it to united states and pinterest would see you as living in the states.

You can also just use a proxy server if you want simple. If you need a source I can send you one. Good-luck.

The only trouble with tor is you don't know who is hosting your exit node. If its a bad guy well then it's not good news for you. There are some better safer options. I'm not sure your allowed either to help people bypass blocks on this site.

If something is blocked ie a website or game helping someone bypass that block I think isn't allowed on this site.
