Babydollxrach,
Looks like you may have a faulty AC adaptor as the power socket LED blinking = Insufficient charge in the battery.
Do the following for us if you will please;
Remove the main battery.
Connect the AC adaptor and turn on at the wall socket.
Check the power socket LED, if it still blinks or is unlit either the AC adaptor has failed or there is a bad connection between the adaptor and the system board inc the DC jack port.
Let us know the outcome of the testing.

Two suggestions, see if you can borrow a compatible AC adaptor/charger or take the notebook to a local tech store and have them try one of their AC adaptor/chargers, if the notebook powers up then you know that your AC adaptor is bad, if the notebook still does not power up when using a known good AC adaptor/charger the problem lays elsewhere, as previously mentioned a bad connection between the adaptor and the system board or the DC jack port are the two most likely causes, both will interrupt the power supply around the MB circuit and prevent the battery from charging, the latter explains the flashing LED as it means low charge in the battery.

Not heard back from you Babydollxrach, do you still require assistance or is the issue now resolved, an update would be appreciated.
