Hi, so long story short I have a dongle but no laptop or phone line or anything.

Is there any way I can get a dongle to transmit wifi so I can use my iPad and iPhone ?

I'm imagining a wireless device you plug the 3G dongle into that gives a wifi signal

Any way? Cradlepoint has routers which you can connect USB devices to, which then can be accessed by wifi or hardwire. I have a wifi hotspot which I used with it. You would need to make sure that the device works with the router, not all do. The router I have is an older router (cheap) and can be bought on ebay for not too much money. I forget the complete model, but it is "95".
