The charger light signaling it's charging will turn on when I have it plugged in, along with the power light when I hold the power button

:welcome:   Heretoaskquestion,

So we can do some research please post the brand and model name or number of the notebook.

When you press the power button, do you hear the internal cooling fan spin up.

I'm sorry i could not understand your issue from your thread post can you answer few questions please.

Does computer power on with or without battery connected?

Does computer power on with only battery power or only power adapter connected?

Does HDD, battery, WiFi power lights on or off when you power on your laptop?

Can you take out battery and disconnect  power adapter and press power switch for 30 second and then see if laptop power on.

Well, to start things off I have a charger. And I charge the battery daily... the laptop won't power on connected or disconnected, when I try to power on my laptop the lights DO turn on. But only when I'm holding down the power button, I've never tried taking out the battery before.... or doing anything with it.
