Hello rinconjoe,

Couple of questions if I may;

Is your Windows media on DVD or a USB thumb drive.

Is your computer a notebook or a desktop, if a brand name such as Dell or HP etc what are the model name or number, if a custom build, what is the brand and model name or number of the MB.

The reason why we need to know the above is because the standard BIOS has been replaced by UEFI BIOS and if your Windows 10 media is on a USB thumb drive you will need to disable secure boot.

Installing data onto the 2TB HDD depends on from where it will be installed from and the type of computer you have etc.

Some have tried cloning; the original hard-drive being the source, the new SSD being the target; using Macrium Reflect or anything similar.  However, it is not always without a hitch, for some reason, the new SSD does not boot - yet.  If you're still planning to install a fresh Windows -- "convert" my comment into a one recommending making routine OS and data partition full images onto any available and trusted external media.

MB specs here say it has UEFI BIOS.

As Windows is on a thumb drive you will need to configure the BIOS so that the USB device is first in the boot order and the SSD the second, save the settings and exit the BIOS, insert your Windows USB thumb drive, restart the computer and see if it will allow you to boot from the USB device, if not, see the example steps below;

Power up or restart the computer continually tap or hold down the key that will allow you to access the BIOS on your computer and then do the following;

Select Security -> Secure Boot and then Disabled.
Select Advanced -> System Configuration and then Boot Mode.
Change UEFI Boot to CSM Boot.
Save the changes and Exit the BIOS, commonly F10.

With your Windows USB device in place, restart the computer and your USB device should now be bootable.

NB: I would fit but not connect the 2TB HDD until Windows has been installed and fully updated etc.
