Hello,
I am able to see my hard drive device manager, but am unable to access any documents. I see the device manager but it does not appear in disk management. There is no letter assigned to it in the disk management section of computer management.
After taking various options I was able to see the hard drive in disk management, which indicated it was not initialized. I attempted to initialize but was unable to. I received the following message, "the request failed due to a fatal device hardware error." Please advise if there is a fix for this error.
