   lazyoli, Couple of questions if I may; i tried putting the cable into the onboard dvi socket. didn't do anything.  When you tried this did you remove the add on vid... Go to the full post »

yay! it works. it was indeed the RAM. [bleep]. what a hassle for a simple mistake. silly.
