Let me look at that, in the mean time

What's all this ? Did you download something ?

C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\7za.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\DaS_21.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\hijackthis.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\NirCmd.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\PEVZ.EXE
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\remove.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\sed.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\shortcut.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\swreg.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\swxcacls.exe
C:\Users\dean\AppData\Local\Temp\wget.exe

Lets remove it

Clean out your temporary internet files and temp files.

Download TFC by OldTimer http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/TFC.exe to your desktop.

Double-click TFC.exe to run it.

Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator

TFC will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.

* Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process.

* Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two.

* Please let TFC run uninterrupted until it is finished.

Once TFC is finished it should restart your computer. If it does not, please manually restart the computer yourself to ensure a complete cleaning.

There's a lot of stuff running every time you boot.

Do you still have a Canon printer connected ?

Do you use bluetooth for anything ?

Download HijackThis
  • Go Here to download HijackThis program
  • Save HijackThis to your desktop.
  • Right Click on Hijackthis and select "Run as Admin" (XP users just need to double click to run)
  • Click on "Do A system scan and save a logfile" (if you do not see "Do A system scan and save a logfile" then click on main menu)
  • copy and paste hijackthis report into the topic

If there are no further issues,
We need to remove the tools we used and then close the topic.

The following procedures will implement some cleanup procedures to remove these tools. It will also reset your System Restore by flushing out previous restore points and create a new restore point. It will also remove all the backups our tools may have made.
Any leftover logs, files, folders or tools remaining on your Desktop which were not removed can be deleted manually (right-click the file + delete).

Why we need to remove some of our tools:
Some of the tools we have used to clean your computer were made by fellow malware fighters and are very powerful and if used incorrectly or at the wronge time can make the computer an expensive paper weight. They are updated all the time and some of them more than once a day so by the time you are ready to use them again they will already be outdated.
Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.
  • Run the tool by right click on the 51a5ce45263de-delfix.png icon and Run as administrator option.
  • Make sure that these ones are checked:
    • Remove disinfection tools
    • Purge system restore
    • Reset system settings
  • Push Run.
  • The program will run for a few seconds and display a notepad report.
    Paste it for my review.

I see no signs of malware on your computer, and feel satisfied that our work here is done.

You usually get infected because your security settings are too low.

Here are a number of recommendations that will help tighten them, and which will contribute to making you a less likely victim:

Safe Computing Practices please read Here
