I saved a webpage for offline viewing by going to the gear icon, file, save as, web pages whole, and saved. Now, how do I open the page?

Thanks,

Hi tjmcs,

There are two ways to open the saved web page.

  1. You can navigate in File Explorer to the location you saved the web page. There you'll find a file with the file extension .htm and the filename is the same as the title of the page you've saved. Double-click on that .htm file and the page will open in your default browser.
  2. In the browser use the shortcut Control+O to bring up the Open dialog, and from there navigate to the said file, and when it is selected click Ok/Open.

Hope this helps.

Yisroel,

Mine was actually saved as .mhtml. Since you said it would open, I double-clicked it. Took 21 minutes. Since it will open, thank you very much.
