I am running a Toshiba Satellite L755D-S5204 with WIndows 7 and my RAM use is at 78 to 80 percent causing my computer to lag. Any idea what might be the cause, I am worried considering the recent blue screen I had while running a virus scan. I am just running Firefox and Skype. My CPU usage is still low, jumping from 1 to 32 percent.

EDIT: I closed and reopened Firefox and it seemed to fix it. How can I prevent this from happening again. Firefox was using over 1 million K of memory.

Hello,

Uninstall Firefox with Revo Uninstaller. Install Firefox again and see what is memory usage.

Since I would be uninstalling Firefox would I lose my bookmarks? The problem seems to have gone away for now when I closed and restarted Firefox.
