Hi,

I've got an 18-pin DVI-D plug on my monitor and I was just wondering if it's compatible with a 24-pin DVI-D socket on a video card.

I tried googling this and the only drawback I found was that it would affect ultra-high resolutions, which I can't use anyway.

Thx.
