I am not used to using platforms like this, so I have no clue how to get a respond. I will try to explain my situation and hope for any answers! 

 

So, Thursday I came to hear that my snapchat account was hacked. When I wanted to access the account, the password was changed. When I wanted to change the password back, the e-mail address was changed as well. I could not reset the password via cell phone number because that didn't work. So in short: I cannot access my own account. 

 

This is bad, but what's worse is that the hacker/that person has been sending nude pictures and whereabouts to people in my snapchat-contact list. So he/she is pretending to be me. This has led to awkward situations with friends of mine. I've been to the police department and they have told me that if I couldn't prove that I wasn't the person logged in, they could not help me. So I've sent snapchat an e-mail asking if they could help me. They said to 'log in and download my own data'. Obviously I cannot log in while the hacker has changed EVERYTHING that can get me on my account. 

 

Is there ANY way I can regain access to my account to oversee the damage that this person has done?
If only I could access and download my data, it states I.P. addresses, I can go to the police and give them that so we can take this person to court and get them the punishment he/she deserves! 

 

I really hope that someone can help me with this. I would appreciate it a lot!!

I'd also email or contact all the friends who may be offended by this individuals actions and tell them it's not you as your account has been hijacked. There by nullifying the hackers intentions making his efforts futile.

 

I'd also just as a precaution check my pc/devices for any type of malware that may have stolen my password/s and once clean then check my email's list of ips that have gained access if you don't recognize any or they seem to come from a strange country then change your email password and check your mail isn't being forwarded to.

Better safe than sorry.

 

Ask snap chat to verify the ips as that may convince them as a sudden change in ip's from a non proxie to a proxie and from no nude pics to nude pics and offensive actions may be enough to convince them that something is wrong along with the change in email and passphrase.
