Custom dynamic link libraries are being loaded for every application. The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure they are related to trusted applications. Please visit http://support.micro...om/kb/197571formore information.

This is usually caused by a poor uninstall that leave HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows LoadAppInit_DLLs set to something other than 0.

We can look at it:
Copy the next line:

reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows"  /s > \junk.txt

Open an elevated command prompt:

If you open an elevated command prompt it will by default open in c:\Windows\system32

Once you have an elevated command prompt:

Right click and Paste (or Edit then Paste) and the copied line should appear.  Hit Enter.
Now type

notepad  \junk.txt

and hit Enter.  Copy and paste the text into a reply.

Usually caused by a service configured wrong.  Search for

services.msc

and hit Enter then

Scroll down to
Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework
and right click and select Properties.  Then change the Startup Type: to Automatic and OK.

Speccy looks good.  Your new hard drive is in perfect shape tho your system is running it at SATA II instead of SATA III but I suppose that's all the hardfware can do.

How is it running now?

The computer is running great according to the primary user (my mother). It has never been faster.

I noticed the SATA II config as well and was hoping the new drive would fix that. Would a cable upgrade do anything? The computer is essentially stock since it was purchased quite a few years ago (aside from the new RAM, HDD and Win 10 upgrade).

I skipped the step on

"Common Windows 10 error.  It's on all of them unless you fix it:

See Reply #2  https://www.sysnativ...s-findings.html"

I will get to that one shortly.

Thank you so very much!

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

 LoadAppInit_DLLs    REG_DWORD    0x1

Should be 0x0 instead of 0x1 since AppInit_DLLs   has no entries. You could fix it yourself in regedit or download the attached zip file, save it then right click and Extract All.  Extract.  You should see

loadapp0.reg.  Right click on it and Merge

.
