Sorry but this is the same zip file that I am using p95v2810.win64zip so I will have a second try since I stopped the last test .
Ok I have unzipped the file and clicked on Prime95.exe file. and clicked Just Stressed Testing and running torture tests . I have screen grabbed the page it should run for 2 hours so wait and see .

Ok I have stopped the old test and now doing a retest the zip file is the same as what I all ready have loaded Prime95.exe file. After that I clicked on only Stress test and set the Torture settings to Blend so now just wait and see .I have attached the page .

Remeber to watch the temps. I tried this on mine once on the most intensive test and it hit 95 % before I could should it down.

All ok on checking temp , Temp at the moment is 88 - 95 C so Average temp is 93C All seems to be ok at the moment i think the test is about 2 hours but I still dont think there is a problem with the hardware on this computer . I think the problem I had before with Prime 95 was I was not getting the options page of stress test it just open on the main page so I clicked on options and into torture mode then started the program . Well so far nothing to report .
A few hours into the Prime95 test and every thing is fine with every thing passing however if you look at the VEW report it shows the start of a war zone . Its clear as I thought that the errors are being induced as if there was a hardware problem it would show upon Prime 95 as well .

I'm not comfortable running at PC at that temp. Did the "speed of processor..." errors happen during the time you were stress testing? (VEW usually shows time in GMT and not local time so the hours are usually off)

Yes your right on the VEW time in GMT and no local time but you can scroll back on the history of each processor and no errors have come up on prime 95 , Yes the VEW processor errors came up while I was stress testing but the stress testing went on for over 2 hours .
I will down load and run the other programs that you gave me the URL for looking at the page http://www.cpuid.com/softwares.htmlthere are 5 programs CPU-Z , HWMONITOR , HWMONITOR PRO , PERFMONITOR 2 and PC WIZARD which one do you want me to run ?

If you run CPU-Z I think it shows you the processor speed in real time. HWMonitor will graph it for you. Perhaps that will show you when it happens? Do you know if the speed of the processor ever goes back up? Have you looked in the BIOS/CMOS setup to see if there is any option for energy saving or quiet running that might be turned on that could cause the slowdowns?

Sorry for the long delay to reply but nothing to add from this side , I ran the stress test from CPU-Z and found nothing heat was between 88-92 C . Yesterday I did not go online with the computer and gave it a VEW and nothing . So I still stick with all these strange hard ware errors are being induced and I am sure its from my ISP which over here in Thailand is TOT .Only 4 more days and I will be heading back to Bangkok and out on the 9th of Feb .
On the CPU-Z web site there was a upgrade for my BIOS so might down load that so like you say there maybe some energy saving program running causing all these strange slow down errors . I did find in my computer bag that Dell did leave me 2 Cds which seem to be for if I do a re install so once back in the UK with my new 1TB HD installed it should be back to normal plus away from TOT .
