:welcome:   waterbuffalo,

could someone please explain what "driver power state failure" means please,

Will do my best, to save power Windows will often shutdown devices such as USB ports and network devices and what can sometimes happen is that when you try and wake such a device from sleep the device does not respond.

and if it has anything to do with my wireless connection that keeps dropping plus how to fix it if it needs to be fixed...

Could be your network device that is causing the "driver power state failure"  error.

Check for any driver updates for your network device, if none are available, save a copy of the latest network drivers to a folder on your desktop, uninstall the present network drivers, restart the computer in Safe Mode only (no networking) reinstall the network drivers, restart the computer, test then post back with an update for us.

PS

is there a way to change my username, cos i misspelled it

Contact a Mod or Admin for help with this please.

Have you tried a system restore point that is before the issue returned;

Press and hold (or right-click) the Start  button, and then select Control Panel.
Search Control Panel for Recovery.
Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
Choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver, or update, and then select Next > Finish.

If the computer in general is behaving itself make sure that you have a restore point for the present settings, use the computer as you normally would to see if the internet connection remains stable.
