So heres the story,

I'm making an interactive map on a pdf, where there is currently a map of a construction site. We have taken a number of 360 images around the site, so I have added icons and links on the pdf map that when clicked automatically open the corresponding image taken. All these 360 images are in a contained folder (relevant to question).

My issue is that when I create these links I cannot specify which software is used to open the images. The images open by default on windows image viewer (which does not have 360 viewing/panning capabilities). One solution to the problem is to set the default jpeg opening on the 360 proprietary software. But this presents a hassle as everyone who views the map from hereon will have to manually set their default software to this 360 software.

So heres my question. Can I set all the images in the folder to open with the 360 software, and not affect any other jpegs on the computer? i.e. can I make the 360 software the default opening software for a single folder only ?

any and all answers appreciated

Don't know if it will work or not but maybe?

1) Change the extension on all of those files from ".jpg" to say .".jpeg"

2) Setup the default application for ".jpeg".
