hello, i was writing my report for a course. i had like 10 pages with some figures in it. today, i selected all and hit ctrl+f9 (i though that it updates all fields :/ ). after that, everything was stuck in selected (gray highlighted) mode. i couldn't fix it with clicking on blank spaces or hitting esc, so i saved and quit. after reopenning the file, it was all blank... the file still has 473 kb of size but it is empty... what is the problem and is there a way i can restore it back?
word doc has a significant size but gone blank

For the next time you make a mistake, (in many programs), try pressing [Ctrl][Z] (means Undo).
