You probably need to get a new drive and clone the old one before it fails completely if you can still boot into Windows. This is not as difficult as you might think. Which drive (part number) do you have in it now? If you don't know:

As said, most likely your disk is dying, so the sooner you backup your data the better. Most likely you need to replace the disk and it is better to do so before it completely fails.

OK. I understand that after a full format and reinstall that it is working OK. It would still be a good idea to run Speccy and post the log so we can see what condition the hard drive is in.

If it got a lot of errors, it is unlikely that a format will fix it. It might mask it for a time.
