Yes, that's OK when under load, the  allowed T_{CASE is} 72.72°C _"Case Temperature is the maximum temperature allowed at the processor Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS)"

For gaming, 8GB is the sweet spot.   There are very few games that will use more.   Running other tasks at the same time as gaming, like, FRAPPS, streaming, 20 browser tabs open, etc. (heavy background applications), may require more RAM.   Some symptoms, unresponsive mouse/keyboard or programs slow to open, game stuttering/freezing.   If your games run smoothly at 45+ fps, you don't need more RAM, better to upgrade other parts, if practicle.

Hi,

 

I would recommend you to check the CPU load while gaming ( try on a few games not just one ) to make sure it doesnt really struggle at high loads and doesnt bottleneck your GPU in some CPU more intensive games.

You can do that by running some software like MSI Afterburner (  ).

 

If you notice your CPU to be hanging often at the 100% load while gaming, then you should consider overclocking your CPU.

You have a CPU with an unlocked multiplier which means it can be overclocked easier and very well compared to those with locked multipliers.

Your current max CPU temp while playing Battlefield 1 isnt really high and in fact it's far from the max recommended temp by Intel, so you dont really have to worry about getting it a bit higher at the cost of higher frequency.

 

I am not really sure how good your cooler is for overclocking, but if it turns out that an overclock could really benefit you in gaming and your CPU cooler is not that good when it comes to overclocking, then if I were you I would consider upgrading the CPU cooler to a better one which will handle overclocking better.

 

But again, that is only if you need an overclock, if you dont, there is no reason to upgrade your cooler or overclock your CPU with the current cooler you have.

 

As for your other PC components, in my opinion they're all pretty much good for 1080p gaming ( I guess you're gaming on full HD, if you do on a higher resolution then that's another case we're talking about ).

 

If you are unhappy with the current time for starting up games, loading maps, missions, then buying an SSD should do the job, but if you're already happy with those required loading times or you feel like waiting a bit longer is not a problem then just leave it as it is since an SSD would help you only in those fields I've just mentioned.

When we get the Speccy results, we may be able to take some load of the the system, giving more resources for gaming.

Do you mind telling us your budget for an SSD ?

If you can spend $180, then Samsung 850 EVO 500GB would be the best you can get. ( http://www.ebay.com/...0sAAOSwT6pV5nWm )

 

If you cant spend that much or you just dont think you need those 500GB of storage, then I guess you should be fine with the smaller version of 250GB that costs $115 ( http://www.ebay.com/...58AAOSwrklU~mz0 )

 

250GB SSD should still be good enough for your OS + some games ( but in case you have a lot of huge games then go for the 500GB version, else you'll be fine with the 250GB SSD and saving about $65 ).

Speccy shows your Network connections cluttered, Probable too many simultaneous connections, probable caused by Teamview.

Your RAM is running in single Channel Mode due to only having one stick, some info, > http://www.gamersnex...-channel/Page-3

You have a few programs that do not need to start with windows and some scheduled you could do without + some not required.

 

If you are definatly going to install a SSD???, good move, there would be no need to do anything with the present system.
