how do I print wirelessly from my computer :(

I have a canon printer MG5765 (Direct Wireless Connection New wireless direction connection elimiates the need for a Wi-Fi router)
 and a gateway computer ...
how do I get the printer to work wirelessly from this computer?
 - or is this not possible ..... I'm totally confused by this :)
greatly appreciate your advice/info on this please

Hi, thank you :) I have now d/l the MP drivers, but I cannot complete the d/l  because the printer was not detected on the network? (do I have a network?) lolz .... sorry but this baffles me, and I do not understand their instructions with ref to network.

No, just the one computer, I have another canon printer with USB connection, but I would have liked the MG5700 to be wireless if it is possible - otherwise I shall just have to buy another usb connection cable ..... which is not a problem per se, but as this printer is a wireless one I thought I'd like to do it, if it's possible - and no, I do not have a wireless router :) just little old me at home, a private individual lolz

Cool, okay I've done that ......... though actually I found it rather complicated, so I hope I did it correctly lolz

Hi,

 

I never used a printer like that, I suppose now you have to search for a wireless network that is created by the printer and connect to it. The manual have the default password unless you change it during the setup part on the printer.
