I'm running Windows 10. Wi-Fi is working fine. All browsers are trying to connect, but not doing so. iTunes will open but just hangs. Can't do anything with it. Also, Control Panel tries to loading won't complete. This was happening intermittently, but now constant.

Hello dcbell63,

Could be a plug-in or your AV blocking access.

Try starting in Safe Mode with Networking, see how that goes then get back to us;

MS steps below;

Press Windows logo key Windows logo key  + I on your keyboard to open Settings. If that doesn't work, select the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen, then select Settings.
Select Update & security > Recovery.
Under Advanced startup, select Restart now.
After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.

Thank you. I can work normally in safe mode, but not everything is available to me. Are there steps I can now take to work with a normal start up?

Means that your problem is software related, follow the steps below to see if you can pinpoint the cause

In the Windows 10 search field type msconfig

Click on System Configuration.

Click on Start up then Open Task Manager.

Click on Start-up.

Make a note of what is currently starting then click the Disable All button.

Reboot and see if it runs better.
If yes, use msconfig to enable several items at a time till you find the culprit.

You are welcome btw  :)

I would recommend resetting IP address and its configuration. Sometimes, there was an issue with those settings and prevent you from accessing the Internet.

netsh int ip reset resettcpip.txt

You can also use Network Reset feature in Settings to do so. Just navigate to Settings -> Network & Internet, then find Network Reset and use it.
