Is it possible for you to post a screenshot of what you see in the Flash Drive?

(If you don't know. Here is how to capture and save a screenshot http://www.addintool...html#windowsxp)

Sorry again for the frustration...

You have the screenshot saved on your computer? (you can open the file and see it in the photo viewer?)

How did you try uploading it here? Did you use the Attach File in the bottom (as in my screenshot below)?

Alternatively, you may upload the image to a picture sharing site, and send the URL for your picture.

When you click in the reply box here to my post, do you see below it an option More Reply Options? If you do see that click it and you'll get a bigger reply box which has the Attach Files option below it.

Also, have you tried my other way to do it? You can use something like imgur.com/upload  or tinypic.com/ to upload the screenshot and share the URL that the service gives you.

So this is how it is on the USB Flash Drive or in My Documents?

If it is on the USB, what happens when you double-click (or right-click and press Open) on the file OperaPortable which we see in this screenshot?

The nsis error is something that usually means that some files are corrupted. I would now advise deleting the whole OperaPortable36 folder from both the flash drive and your documents. And then extract this folder again to the flash drive from the .zip file you downloaded (you know how to extract from a zip file?)

Then (you'll again have the OperaPortable36 and inside it the OperaPortable file) double-click the OperaPortable file. And let's hope it'll run correctly.

You shouldn't look on the icon color really, but insr=ead on the file name. The file you need to click to start the program is the file OperaPortable file. Do you see that file in the newly extracted OperaPortable36 folder on the flash drive? What happens when you double-click that file?

I am not sure what's going on.

Let's try a different direction. Try installing Firefox ESR (this is a special version still updated for XP use) Portable. You can download it from here: http://portableapps....ox-portable-esr

Save the FirefoxPortableESR_45.7.0_English.paf you are downloading to the flash drive, and run it from there, this will create a portable version on the flash drive. After finishing the installation there will be a FirefoxPortableESR folder on the flash drive, in it a file FirefoxPortable. Double-click that to start the program.
