Hello. I've downloaded a lot of photos and whatnot from fellow artists, and due to some strange happenings (extreme coincidences), I'm starting to feel concerned that at one point, I may have downloaded some sort of spyware. Can someone tell me what I should try looking for to confirm/deny this suspicion?

I have little to no computer knowledge. I'm hardly sure of what to even ask.

Edit: I'm sorry, I just realized that I was supposed to take certain steps before starting a new topic. I will go do that now. I would delete this thread if I knew how to until then.

Hi minttea,

Welcome to GeeksToGo! :)

I would be more than happy to help you out here. Do you know which operating system is installed (Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10) and if your computer is 32 or 64-bit?

Donna :)
