Hello,

I'm using a Dell Windows XP Pro. and Avast Safe Zone Browser.

I've been trying to clean out my pc with WinDerStat, to remove what I don't need.

I think I may have a file or dll.missing from when I ran Anti-virus,spyware and malware and cCleaner.

So I tried to download Tweaking.com-Windows Repair, but every time I do ,I get this,   Irsetup....

Doesn't let me do any thing.

I there any way to fix this or what is this, never encounted this before?

Thank-You, Johngod

Could you be clicking on an ad and not the real download?

Try

http://www.tweaking....r_aio_setup.exe

That should start the download without even going to the page.

The downloaded file should be called:

 tweaking.com_windows_repair_aio_setup.exe

Is that what you got?  The site has a big green Download button which you want to avoid.

It's possible that IRESETUP refers to an install of another program that's stuck.  Do you get a different result if you download the Portable version?

1. Please download the Event Viewer Tool by Vino Rosso
and save it to your Desktop:
2. Right-click VEW.exe and Run AS Administrator
3. Under 'Select log to query', select:

* System
4. Under 'Select type to list', select:
* Error
* Warning

Then use the 'Number of events' as follows:

1. Click the radio button for 'Number of events'
Type 20 in the 1 to 20 box
Then click the Run button.
Notepad will open with the output log.

Please post the Output log in your next reply then repeat but select Application.  (Each time you run VEW it overwrites the log so copy the first one to a Reply or rename it before running it a second time.)

I didn't run the VEW.exe because I got the Tweaking.com to download.

I did it in Safe mode and it worked. Wasn't sure if you still wanted the VEW.exe.

When I went to open my desktop, I got this:

EXPRESS TRAY.exe       ERROR

To run this application, Install the following version of:

.NET Framework   v4.0.30319

Express Tray is a Garmin program.  You can uninstall the Garmin program or you can get the .net program from MS

https://www.microsof...s.aspx?id=17851

It might still be a good idea to look at your event logs with VEW.

Did the .net  fix your Express Tray error?

Log: 'System' Date/Time: 16/01/2017 2:30:57 AM
Type: warning Category: 0
Event: 36 Source: W32Time
The time service has not been able to synchronize the system time for 49152 seconds because none of the time providers has been able to provide a usable time stamp. The system clock is unsynchronized.

Are you connected to the Internet?  If so, see if you can get the clock to sync:

First make sure the time is set to the correct date and time.  If it's off too far it can't sync.  Then see if you can get it to sync by following the steps here:

Sometimes it helps to change the source from time.windows.com to one fo the other options.

Log: 'System' Date/Time: 10/02/2017 3:13:21 PM
Type: error Category: 0
Event: 4311 Source: NetBT
Initialization failed because the driver device could not be created.

To disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP

  1. From the Start menu, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.

  2. Expand System Tools, and then clear the Device Manager check box.

  3. Right-click Device Manager, point to View, and then select Show hidden devices.

  4. Expand Non-Plug and Play Drivers.

  5. Right-click NetBios over TCP/IP, and then click Disable.

If you are done with Windows Repair All In one, uninstall it.

Start, Run, eventvwr.msc, OK to bring up the Event Viewer.  Right click on System and Clear All Events, No (we don't want to save the old log), OK. Repeat for Application.

Reboot.

now run VEW again for both System and Applications and let's see if we still have errors.

I do have internet and clock is sync. Net fix error.

I ran into a problem with this disable

I did the NETBIOS

But afterwards was not able to get back on the INTERNET.

I tried to reverse what I did with Netbios, but the netbios over tcpip would noe enable

and the red  x is still on it and still can't get on Internet. Don't know if this was the cause or not.

Was on internet before.

Right click on my computer and select Manage then Device Manager.  Click on the arrow or + in front of Network Adapters and then right click on your network adapter and Uninstall.  (Do not tell it to remove the drivers)

Reboot

If that doesn't work then try a System Restore to a time before you did the change

The network adapters worked.   Tweaking.com, I deleted from pc using control panel.

Avast said that there were 16 files of Tweaking.com left from uninstall.

Before the pc couldn't get on the internet, This was happening:

Run As

Which user account do you want to use to run this program

Current user-john

ok    This keeps popping up, every few seconds or so.

I'm still doing post # 8   vew again

When it asked you:

Run As

Which user account do you want to use to run this program

Current user-john

Was there anything in the heading of the popup box that might explain what program was asking?

I also got this: Garmin Catrograply Map update application error

0x00434352 occurred in the location 0x7c812fds....

I deleted Tweaking.com but avast said from the uninstall 16 residual files were left.

I would uninstall Garmin and then download and install a fresh copy.

Right click on My Computer and select Manage then Services and Applications then Services.  Scroll down to Netlogon and right click and select Properties tehn change the Startup Type: to Disabled.  OK.

Download UPHClean. To download and install UPHClean, visit http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/microsoft_user_profile_hive_cleanup_service.html
As soon as you have downloaded the UPHClean installer (UPHClean-Setup.msi), double-click the installer to begin the installation.
In the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service installation wizard, click Next.
In the License Agreement page, read the license agreement, select I Agree, and then click Next.
In the Select Installation Folder page, click Next.
In the Confirm Installation page, click Next.
When UPHClean is installed, click Close.

That should fix all of the errors except the

Event: 4311 Source: NetBT
Initialization failed because the driver device could not be created.

Is the driver still flagged as disabled or did it go back to working?

There is another way to turn off netbios over TCP.  I'm not sure it will fix the problem but you can try it:

I uninstalled Garmin. When I tried to re install it, Garmin Express is not compatible with my system.

So I tried to install Map Updater which is but I need 10 GB free space, I only have 8.178 GB.

Should I uninstall something like : Google Chrome 318.00 MB

                                                      Mozilla Firefox   9.50 MB

                                                      Malware-byes   56.75 MB

                                                      Super Anti Spyware   9.50 MB

Or do something else.Or is there another Garmin?

This was the first thing I did, now I'll start the other things you mentioned.

Driver went back to Enabled but Under Mulitifunctions Adapters:

I have a Red X at: Office Jet 6500 E709N and Photosmart 5510 series
