Uninstall Super Anti Spyware. It won't save much space but it's not really a good product.

Let's see what else you have installed.

Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark just the following checkboxes:

List content of Hosts

List Installed Programs

List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.

Both Chrome and Firefox are ending their support for XP so you might want to download Opera

http://www.opera.com/

As far as I know that's the only major browser that is still being supported for XP. Then you can uninstall both Chrome and Firefox.

Garmin has also stopped supporting XP with GarminExpress. I hear they are offering Map Updater in its place so you can still get updates but it does take a lot of space.

Perhaps you can stick on a USB drive or an external drive to get some extra space.

You can certainly remove the older versions of Java

Java 8 Update 111

Java 8 Update 91

These are bad to have since they have unpatched vulnerabilities.

Java 8 Update 121 is the latest but most people do not need it at all.

You can uninstall Speccy

and

Move Media Player

(You have VLC so you shouldn't need a second player)

Most people don't use

Adobe AIR

It gets installed when you install Adobe Reader.

If I put a flash drive on my pc, would I be able to put Garmin Updater on that?

Any answers about the Avast SafeZone Browser? That came when I got Avast as a add on.

I'm going to try Opera. I believe I tried that before but not sure.

I'm deleting what you recommended.

Than going back to download UPH Clean, haven't done this yet, sorry but I'm a little behind.

I tried to download Opera, but for some reason, it wouldn't let me.

Yes. You should be able to put it on a flash drive.

Don't know much about Avast SafeZone Browser. Never used it but it looks like it should work OK.

Don't know why Opera doesn't want to download. Perhaps Avast is jealous?

Either that or I forget to delete Google and Firefox.

Let you know what happens after I remove those 2.

Does this run in the back round?

I tried to install Opera, still couldn't. I got the Open File-Security Warning

I tapped run, Downloading Windows flashed on the screen, but nothing happened.

Something said I needed SP3 which I have, something else said SSE2, not sure what this is.

Look like two printers that you may no longer have. Probably means you can uninstall 2 or 3 of these:

This printer I use now: OfficeJet 6500E709n

This printer is my wife's, which is connected to her pc: Photosmart 5510 series.

Use to be connected to my pc, but no more.

I tried, but still can't connect to Opera. I saved the set up file first, than hit run to install, but got this:

I downloaded the Opera setup file. It installed OK. It's just a stub. When you run it it contacts the mother ship and downloads a much bigger file. Perhaps a firewall is preventing it from connecting to the mother ship.

See if you can go to:

ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera-winxpvista/36.0.2130.80/win/Opera_winxpvista_36.0.2130.80_Setup.exe

This is a direct download of the full file (The page won't change it will just start downloading ) and it says it works for XP.

I would uninstall any printers you no longer use. They take up a lot of hard drive space.

I was able to download Opera. It took me 4 tries.

Until I disabled Adblock Plus, AdRemover and WOT. I enable after the download.

I see Opera looks a lot like Google.

I will check what printers I may have installed and remove all but Office Jet 6500 E709e.

I use this one.

When I first logged on today it said found new hardware for my printer, I tried to get it but was unable too.

You may need to install all of your printer software then go to the HP site and download the latest software for your printer and install it.

I reinstalled my cd for the printer,but there wasn't any new drivers or software.

I did get this;Instruction at 0x00080144 cannot be read.

A few questions if you don't mind.

Are these okay to have installed? ( Adblock Plus, AdRemover and WOT. )

Would like to keep my system as clean as possible, What would you recommend?

I have these now; If I don't need them or you know of any other,just let me know?

I am not fond of SuperAntiSpyware and I feel that CCleaner can do some real harm so I don't recommend either.

Not sure what AdRemover is but you probably don't need it if you have AdBlock Plus. With Adblock plus, check you need to click on the ABP stopsign icon in your browser then on Options, UNCHECK: Allow some non-intrusive advertising.

If you use Facebook I love F B Purity. http://www.fbpurity.com/ It removes all of the ads and suggested posts that clutter up Facebook.

I don't like the sound of:
