okay.. I installed bf1942 in my new system(it can more than handle bf1942).. and when I try starting it up, it opens that little square in the middle of my screen that has the battlefield 1942 logo (like it always does) but instead of popping up and then the game starting.. it just sits on that logo and does nothing. I was going to uninstall it.. but for some reason IT WON'T UNINSTALL!!! I can uninstall the expansions(road to rome and secret weapons of WWII) but when I uninstall bf1942 it's still on my system.. it runs the uninstall.. but it doesn't take it off.. I've tried the uninstall Icon.. and Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel. please help..

sounds like you are gonna have to manually delete the bf1942 files from your registry.....if you know how to use regedit, go for it....if not, dont. try a system restore, if you installed it recently and have winxp

Wipe the game off your harddrive, and then go to Tucows.com and download any registry cleaner. You can pick and choose in simple format any registry item to delete, or let the program find "broken" registry items.
Also, sounds like you have a copied version. That may ultimately be your problem. In order to stop piracy, Eagames built in faults that destroy any ability to install. Lol, god I like a parent or something.
