Right, so for the past week or so I've been bashing my head against a problem I've been having with a computer that I recently had moved across countries via the joys of postal services, the computer worked perfectly fine prior to the move of course but however when I came to turn it on again when it arrived it refused to do so and I was forced to format and put a fresh install of Windows 10 on the system. I thought that was odd but it wasn't really that bad or slow a process, however the problems only emerged more after that...

The most glaring issue and problem seems to be the fact it sometimes decides to restart on its own without warning or bsod and goes either into a weird bootloop where it never enters the lock screen or it simply comes to a screen where it states that "Looks like windows wasn't able to start properly". Generally I've found the only way to fix this at this point is to either re-reinstall a fresh copy of windows or use the magic of a restore point.

After some restarts it sometimes settles with the restarts until I do one very specific thing, and that is install the graphic driver, the moment I try it throws a massive shitfit and goes back to the restart loop. It sometimes DOES let me to restart normally but it will basically go back to prior the graphic driver was done installing of course.

Now i've tried to install the graphic drivers in a multitude of ways with no one any better than any other...(Windows Update, Geforce Experience, downloading the standalone driver to install manually, drivers cd for the graphics card and even through a third party driver installer.). Nothing seems to work. Everything else on the computer seems fine otherwise but there is something going on with the graphics card and windows that are REALLY not getting along.

My suspicion is during the move the graphics card or the motherboard were somehow damaged, although from what I can see at the least I cannot see anything wrong from the surface of either object.

Gfx card: MSI Geforce 970 4GB Gaming
Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-Z170-Gaming K3


I should I do not have another mobo or gfx card handy to honestly switch them to see specifically if either one is faulty so it's a bit hard. And the closest tech shop is miles away and I have no car...

Any help would be immensely appreciated!

It is possible that something worked loose while the computer was being shipped so a physical check of the inside of the case will be required, are you ok with working inside of the computer if we post the necessary safety steps etc.
