How do i become admin on my own network.

 

I was trying to shutdown my other PC remotely by shutdown -i command.. but "Access denied 5" 

 

and i guess its because im not admin i can't access the command 

 

i did open cmd as admin.

What version(s) of windows?  For 7:

Or you just could just use the free TeamViewer on just about any Windows version:

Free for private use.  Give you a view of the desktop like you were sitting in front of the PC.  No need to use command line.
