I bought a Laptop with an Lithium-ion Battery, and I was confused and curious on what it is. So i googled it and i left with more questions. How should i charge it? Is there a specific way to charge it?

First thought would be to follow the laptop manufacturer's charging instructions.

 

If you don't have those instructions, what is the make and model of the laptop and we may be able to help locate some?
