On boot it will stop at splash screen until i hit a keystroke. MB-gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 dual uief bios.

Try restoring the MB back to the factory default settings in the BIOS;

 

Restart the computer while tapping the Del key.

In the BIOS select the Load Optimized Defaults item to restore your system to its defaults, Save and Exit.

 

If no change, let us know along with whether or not the time and date are correct in the BIOS when the computer has been shutdown and left off overnight etc.
