Hi. I desperately need to free up space on my PC which is running increasingly slowly, so I thought I'd get rid of the pre-loaded Microsoft games (which heaven knows I've never even bothered looking at, let alone playing).
When I select each individual game folder and attempt to delete it, I get the message 'You need permission to perform this action. You require permission from TrustedInstaller to make changes to this folder.'
I Googled for info on how to get around this on Windows 7, but the only advice I could find didn't work. So then I searched Geeks to Go and found a thread which contained a link to advice on how to do it, but unfortunately the link is now a dead link.
I don't suppose any of you Einsteins could talk me through the process of bypassing, sidestepping or confronting this TrustedInstaller killjoy on Windows 7?
