Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post since it's about computing machines and it seems to be connected to this. I saw this on here: [redacted] ( Patt and Pattel introduction to computing systems ) on Chapter 1 4th slide. Isn't embedded the same as special purpose computing machines since they are designed for a specific task? Or is special purpose machines contain embedded computing machines and not vice versa?

Thank you.
