Sorting listings of files

Using W10 File Explorer, I see a listing of files in a desgnated foder. Can someone please remind me how to sort that listing: a) chronologically with most recent on top; b) chronologically with most recent at bottom; and c) alphabetically a to z? Thanks. .... bkar

Hello there.

Not sure about the alphabetical but, but the other two you can do by right-clicking on a space in an open file and selecting 'Sort by'. You can then choose to sort by Name, Date, Type, Size or Tags. There is also the choice of Ascending or Descending.

Hope this is what you wanted.

EDIT OR click 'View' at top of File Explorer, then 'Sort By', as in the following screenshot:
