Please Help, Spyware/Virus problem

Yesterday while I was browsing the net I noticed my desktop had changed to blue with a message about trojan-spy.html.smitfraud.c

I also noticed there was an application called PSGuard on my desktop. I removed this appliction in Control Panel and found instructions on this site on how to get rid of it. This got rid of the blue background.

But now my computer is running very slow, it can take over a minute for IE to load up, I keep getting pop ups and Norton Antivirus keeps popping up saying it's found a virus in the following files but says it can't remove them :

I've run a full Norton scan and that doesn't find anything. I've run Adaware and Spybot S & D, they find a few thing but not much. I've run Spy Sweeper and that finds quite a lot inlcluding psguard still but it doesn't seem to remove them because if I restart and run it again it finds them again.

I'm pulling my hair out now, hopefully you can help me, I've put my hijackthis log below :

Another thing I've noticed is that when I go into Task Manager and click on Performance, the CPU is constantly at 100%

Also when IE does load up it comes up with Quick Web Search and the address is about:blank.

Also my pc won't seem to go into safe mode anymore, it did before but now it comes up with the list of .sys files then seems to freeze.

Another file norton is coming up with is :
